The PULSE 400HD is our most versatile model yet. It’s designed to accept universal input voltage from 208V to 600V AC, 1Ph or 3Ph right out of the box for global compatibility. There’s no need for a step-down transformer or any additional configuration to achieve the required voltage.

Output RPM Control

Program the RPM for the gearbox output of the open cycle and close cycle for constant door speeds that suit your installation. With its speed detecting encoder, the PULSE 400HD accommodates for the input voltage and provides reliable speed control throughout the operation, even if the voltages should fluctuate.

Adjustable Soft Start/Soft Stop

This feature offers smooth, controlled acceleration and deceleration of the door, and helps prolong the life of its mechanical parts. It also aids in the prevention of cable throw. The distance of both the acceleration and deceleration can be programmed to match the door requirements as needed.

Chain Hoist Option

The PULSE chain hoist adds enhanced reliability by ensuring manual operation during extended power outages. Simple to use, it engages with a red cord and disengages with a green cord. It prevents downtime, protects operations, and delivers peace of mind for businesses needing uninterrupted performance.

A 26-foot chain is supplied for a 12.5-foot high standard lift door, with 13 feet of rope provided to engage and disengage the chain hoist. If more chain and rope are required, additional 26-foot kits are available to order.

Programmable Closing Timer

This feature allows to automatically close the door after a selectable delay of 1 to 99 seconds.

Door Close Warning

When the closing timer is active, the red LED light flashes on your Stop & Go traffic light before the door closes. Programmable from 1 to 9 seconds, use this safety feature as an early warning for your workers. Best used with iControls^® TL Series LED Stop & Go traffic lights.

Weather-Protect Option

For weather-resistant applications, iControls recommends an upgrade. Standard PULSE operator motors are rated IP44, and could be vulnerable to water ingress. Furthermore, reflective photo-eye sensors can be affected by condensation on the reflector, preventing reliable operation in such conditions.

To ensure uninterrupted performance, our cost-effective weather‑resistant upgrade seals ingress points on the motor junction box and includes a NEMA 4X through-beam sensor in place of a reflective photo-eye.

Reliable & Precise Encoder

Mounted inside the gearbox, the encoder enables easy limit setup and flexible left or right-side mounting. It supports advanced door functions including soft start/stop, dual open limits, and motion monitoring. If the door stops mid-cycle, the encoder detects the issue and halts operation to prevent further damage.
