Note
Depending on the PULSE 500 Series operator model you purchased, there are a couple of differences you should be aware of when installing to avoid potential issues.
What type of reversing device came with your door operator?
For PULSE 1000 & Any Weather-Protect (WP) Models A Vitector-Fraba Optoeye Thru-Beam Photo-Eye A Vitector-Fraba Optoeye Thru-Beam Photo-Eye
For PULSE 500 & 750 Models Without Weather Protection A Polarized Reflective Photo-Eye A Polarized Reflective Photo-Eye
The photo-eye is connected into Terminal 1 of the "Reversing Devices" input on the Control Panel. Once the Close button is activated, the operator verifies that the Photo-Eye is connected and functional, and it continues to monitor the sensor as the door closes.
